Technology and Operating Principles
F&S Bondtec 5810 is an automatic wire bonding machine using Ball-Wedge technology specialized for gold wire (Gold Wire) sizes 12.5–50 µm. The device operates based on the F&S Generator ultrasonic system standard at 67 kHz combined with a high-precision real-time embedded ARM control system, achieving a processing speed of 1 wire/second.
Solving the production problem
In R&D and medium-scale production environments, reliance on technician skills often leads to errors and unstable productivity. The 5810 completely addresses this issue thanks to fully automated operation mode. The operator only needs to manually feed the workpiece, and the machine will automatically identify and perform precise welds within seconds without any influence from humans.
Integration and Expansion Capability
The device has strong expansion capabilities thanks to interchangeable bonding heads and an optional ultrasonic tube system up to 120, 130, or 140 kHz. The machine comes with a built-in temperature controller of 0–250 °C and is compatible with various types of workholders such as Standard Workholder (up to 8 × 6"), 6 × 6" Workholder, or TO Workholder. The machine runs on a Dual-Core Windows PC platform, supporting comprehensive TCP/IP network connectivity.
