Detailed description
Technology & Principle:
Monolith is a high-resolution Gamma and X-ray spectrometer system that operates without liquid nitrogen. The device operates based on the principle of using a deep-cooled HPGe semiconductor detector with a Stirling cooler combined with Active Vibration Cancellation, accompanied by an SHP preamplifier to convert gamma and X-ray radiation into accurate electrical signals.
Durable Stirling cooler technology
Completely eliminates dependence on liquid nitrogen thanks to the Stirling cooler with an average operating time before failure of up to thousands of hours, allowing the system to operate continuously, save energy, and require no maintenance.
Maintains resolution quality with Active Vibration Cancellation
Eliminate mechanical noise generated by the cooling engine thanks to the integrated active vibration control system, maintaining the quality of resolution and peak symmetry approaching that of traditional LN2 cooling systems..
The ability to operate flexibly in all spatial directions and energy-optimized design.
Address difficulties in measuring at complex positions or angles thanks to a design that allows the device to operate stably at any angle. And reduce thermal load on the surrounding environment with a maximum power consumption of only 140 W and maintaining at 70 W under normal operating conditions.
Integration/ Expansion:
Compatible with all BSI HPGe probe lines (including p-type coaxial lines with efficiencies from 10% to 160%), covering an energy range from 40 keV to 10 MeV (GCD line) and from 3 keV to 10 MeV (GCDX/GCDX-OS line).
The system is easily expandable with additional accessories such as: Multi-channel analyzer (MCA), GammaPRO analysis software, advanced software package MCC-MT, Lead Shield, Trolley on wheels, and extension cable set. The product uses AC power 230 V (50/60 Hz), cooling time < 13 hours, operates in a temperature range of 0 to +40 °C, suitable for applications in laboratories, fieldwork, and industrial environments.
