Detailed description

  • The Bluefors 1K Systems are integrated low-temperature cryogenic measurement systems, designed to provide a stable operating environment within the 0.5–1 Kelvin range for quantum research and low-temperature physics applications. Utilizing helium cooling technology combined with a pulse tube cryocooler and multi-stage cryogenic cooling, the system continuously maintains ultra-low temperatures with high stability, completely eliminating the need for manual liquid helium refills.
  • The system integrates a cryostat, cryogenic control systems, and measurement infrastructure into a single unified platform, supporting low-noise RF and DC signal transmission for sensitive cryogenic experiments. Its design allows for versatile wiring, optical access configurations, and the integration of a superconducting magnet, optimized for the measurement and control of quantum devices.
  • Compared to dilution refrigerators, the 1K system features a simpler operational structure, faster cooldown times, and is optimized for applications that do not require ultra-low milli-Kelvin temperatures. The system is engineered to minimize vibration and mechanical noise, ensuring high stability for cryogenic detectors, superconducting electronics, spin qubits, single-photon detectors, and low-temperature materials research.
  • Ideal for quantum labs, low-temperature physics research institutes, and cryogenic applications, the Bluefors 1K Systems deliver highly stable, versatile, and user-friendly cooling performance.

Cooling time to base temperature (when the system is unloaded)

With 3 PT425-ENH units and a short experimental space: cooldown time to base temperature under 12 hours.

The option for a liquid nitrogen (LN₂ pre-cooling loop) helps shorten the cooldown time, achieving under 9 hours with a 2-section vacuum can configuration.

The configuration using 2 pulse tube cryocoolers PT425-ENH with a very long experimental space allows the system to reach base temperature in under 16 hours.
