Technology & Principles
Amber - 12 operates based on the principle of converting alpha particle energy into an electrical signal, which is then amplified, filtered, and transformed into a spectrum to determine energy and radiation intensity. The system integrates up to 12 independent spectrometer chambers, each chamber includes a silicon ion implantation alpha particle detector (SIID) with an area of up to 1200 mm², a pressure sensor, and a signal preamplifier. The signal is processed through an integrated multi-channel analyzer (MCA), a calibration pulse generator, and a counter to provide accurate analysis results.

Completely overcomes the overload situation and extends waiting times in laboratories by equipping from 2 to 12 completely separate spectrometer chambers (each chamber fully equipped with detectors, preamplifiers, valves, and electronic circuits), allowing simultaneous analysis of up to 12 samples at once.

Integration/ Expansion
Amber-12 has high compatibility, especially with the SIID detector line with an area of up to 1200 mm² and pulse feedback preamplifiers (pulse feedback preamplifier). All 12 measurement channels are managed and controlled centrally through an external computer running specialized software AlphaPRO, allowing real-time vacuum index monitoring, setting amplification parameters (coarse/fine up to 500), and automatic spectrum analysis.
