Detailed description
Principle of advanced optical transmission measurement
ETA-CSS operates based on transmission spectral collection technology and laboratory color analysis. The device features a high linear Silicon sensor of 512 pixels, supporting two wavelength range configurations of 380–780 nm or 380–1050 nm. Combining a f/2.8 three-dimensional holographic diffraction monochromator and 16-bit digitization, the system allows for fast scanning in just 6 ms, providing stable Chromaticity results with a repeatability of 3\sigma < 0.001.
Overcoming barriers in optical quality control
In the production of thin films and precision optics, color deviation and coating thickness often lead to material waste and reduced product performance. ETA-CSS addresses this issue with a non-destructive measurement system, easily assessing the color uniformity of color filters, anti-reflective (AR) coatings on architectural glass, or photo-resist optical barrier materials. The rapid measurement process helps shorten testing time, optimize formulation processes, and establish production parameters.
Scalability and visual analysis software
The system runs on the intuitive ETA-STC software platform, allowing for automatic alignment, integrated dark current measurement, and quick data output via RS232, USB, or Ethernet ports. Additionally, the device can be combined with the specialized MK Table sample holder, providing stable mechanical probe fixation, meeting diverse requirements from basic research in the lab to industrial-scale quality control (QC) processes.
