Main features
- The Jacomex G(Safe) Series glove box is a solution for maximum safety protection designed and manufactured in France to meet critical applications in nuclear research and hazardous industry. The system achieves the highest leak-tightness certification Class 1 according to ISO 10648-2, made from specific stainless steel grades AISI 304L or AISI 316L with rounded corners to optimize the decontamination capability.
- The equipment operates under safe negative pressure with airflow strictly controlled through the new generation VMR control valve and VMS safety valve. The sample introduction and waste management process is conducted in a closed manner through ventilated airlocks, double door transfer ports (DPTE), safe waste bag ports, or Rapid Transfer Ports (RTP).
- To meet the stringent nuclear technical standards, the G(Safe) project is supervised by a dedicated team of engineers from Jacomex, fully supporting risk assessment reports, dosimetry analysis, and substantiation regarding seismic and ventilation.
- The system fully complies with international certifications including ISO 9001:2015, the quality management program ISO 19443 (nuclear industry), CEFRI certification, ISO 3834 welding standards (TIG, YAG) along with RCC-M/MR and ASME construction standards.
Detailed description
- Dedicated nuclear ventilation system: G(Safe) integrates an automated mechanical ventilation regulation system combined with safety valves, maintaining stable negative pressure to absolutely prevent the leakage of harmful substances outside.
- Dual HEPA filtration mechanism and safe BIBO filter box: The device is equipped with a dual HEPA filtration system at both the inlet and outlet air paths, combined with specialized Bag In Bag Out (BIBO) filter boxes, allowing for safe, non-contact filter replacement, completely isolating the operator from the risk of contamination.
- Structural airtightness achieves the highest certification level: The cabinet body is designed to achieve Tightness Class 1 certification according to the strict international standard ISO 10648-2 (oxygen method), constructed solidly from high-quality stainless steel AISI 304L or AISI 316L.
- Enhanced radiation and chemical resistance: The system supports integrated Gamma/Neutron radiation shielding along with specialized acid-resistant surface coatings (ALAR coating), optimizing the ability to decontaminate and clean surfaces easily.
- Integration of active overpressure and underpressure protection systems: Equipped with active safety protection solutions Over Under Pressure Protection Systems (OUPPS) ensuring active confinement capability even in the event of unexpected incidents.
