  • IQM Quantum Computers IQM Halocene is a superconducting quantum computer system developed specifically for research in quantum error correction (Quantum Error Correction – QEC) and fault-tolerant quantum computing. The platform is designed with an open and modular architecture, supporting pulse-level access, allowing researchers and HPC centers to directly control the entire operation, calibration, and development of advanced quantum algorithms.
  • IQM Halocene supports the deployment of logical qubits, hybrid quantum–classical algorithms, and surface code error correction mechanisms aimed at scalable and highly reliable quantum systems. The system is suitable for research institutes, universities, supercomputing centers, and companies developing quantum technology, quantum software, AI decoders, compilers, integrated HPC middleware, and next-generation quantum computing applications.

  • The system consists of 150 qubits with tunable couplers between the qubits.
  • Square lattice architecture with top-tier connectivity at this system scale.
